FINE Fulani Pair Ebony

Description

A pair of fulani wooden masks for home decoration, male female. This piece is a true wonder of human endurance. The wood is incredibly heavy & dense meaning it was undoubtedly difficult to carve & the scale & detail is magnificent. The person I bought it from procured it in the DRC in the 70s I believe.
