The Shaman sits cross leg  upon the ground, slightly leaning forward, holding, with both hands a  drinking cup  with strong ribs and backbone , Exhibits a strong burnished surface covered in manganese deposits along with other ancient markings and is in excellent intact
Hunchback and dwarf individuals with bodily disfiguration were often seen in the pottery figures of the Colima culture. It is believed by some scholars that they may actually have a high social status as being important in religious life such as a magician or shaman.
